In an unexpected event near Chennai, the Indian Air Force (IAF) experienced a crash involving the Pilatus PC-7 Mk II during a routine training mission in the Tambaram area of Chengalpattu district. Footage circulating on social media showed debris spread across the crash site, capturing the attention of nearby residents.
The IAF has confirmed that the pilot ejected without injury, successfully avoiding any casualties. Authorities also reported that civilian property remained safe during the incident. The aircraft was on a normal training sortie when it crashed around 2:25 PM local time.
