Dubai Future Forum 2025: A Hub for Global Innovation

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

Dubai is gearing up for the fourth installment of the Dubai Future Forum, the premier gathering of futurists, uniting upwards of 200 speakers and 2,500 participants from over 100 international organizations. Hosted by the Dubai Future Foundation at the iconic Museum of the Future, the two-day event will delve into the most significant forces shaping humanity's future through an array of more than 70 keynotes, panels, and engaging experiences.

The forum revolves around five fundamental themes — Exploring the Unknown, Empowering Societies, Reimagining Health, Optimising Systems, and Foresight Insights — delivering a comprehensive perspective on innovation, human development, and societal evolution.

Cutting-Edge Technology Takes Center Stage

This year’s forum will feature AI-driven and XR-powered experiences, including sessions in virtual and augmented reality that allow participants to witness the latest technological advancements firsthand. Interactive displays like Future Botanica and Aura Forest seamlessly merge digital nature with real-world environments, while VR offerings such as The Art of Change and Keepers of the Forest examine themes of identity, memory, and traditional wisdom.

Highlights from Day 1

The forum will kick off with a keynote from Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, setting the tone for discussions surrounding global foresight and human progress. Sessions will cover topics such as “Building a Regenerative Society,” “Governance for the Long Term,” and debates on understanding human consciousness, global R&D collaboration, and anticipating future healthcare trends. Concurrent panels will address cultural, social, and economic themes, including consumer behavior in 2035 and ocean innovations. The first day will wrap up with the Dubai Future Solutions – Prototypes for Humanity Awards, recognizing innovative solutions to global challenges.

Insights from Day 2

The second day will center around urban environments, nature, and creativity, commencing with Marwan Bin Ghalita discussing people-driven urban futures. Keynotes like “A Future with Nature” will emphasize human creativity as a vehicle for wonder and sustainability. Thematic discussions will focus on collaborative foresight, youth involvement, and crafting inclusive futures. Workshops will cover scenario planning, citizen foresight, and storytelling aimed at empowering communities.

A Celebration of Innovation

Additionally, the Dubai Future Solutions 2025 will feature the top 100 innovative projects from over 3,000 global submissions, with five unique projects chosen for further enhancement. The Dubai Foresight Awards will recognize changemakers and people-focused innovators, while the Future Stories Awards will celebrate authors shaping the new wave of futurists. For the first time, a dedicated Book Corner will host launches and signings, showcasing foresight literature from around the globe.

Learning Days Overview

Before the main forum on November 17 and 20, Learning Days will offer deep dives into subjects like global security, strategic philanthropy, wearable tech, urban resilience, and the future of the media, linking research to actionable foresight.

With a dynamic mix of insightful discussions, immersive experiences, and a global talent pool, the Dubai Future Forum 2025 is not just about forecasting the future; it’s about actively shaping it.
