Farah Khan Ali's Moving Tribute to Her Late Mother Zarine Khan

Post by : Mina Rahman

Jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali honored her late mother, former actress Zarine Khan, who sadly passed away on November 7 at the age of 81.

On Instagram, Farah posted a sentimental video featuring Zarine performing Aaj Jane Ki Zid Na Karo by Farida Khanum, serenading Love Me Tender aboard a shikara, and dancing to O Haseena Zulfonwale Jane Jahan alongside Farah. The video also captured Zarine’s heartfelt message about the importance of family, stating, “Family is wealth. You must always stay bonded, whether I’m here today or not. Remember, nobody is like your family.”

In sharing the tribute, Farah expressed, “To my mother, my soul mate, the woman who touched many lives with her love, warmth, and shine. You will be missed because no one can ever be like you. Your legacy will always inspire many, and I promise to walk in your footsteps and keep our family bonded forever.”

Notable figures like Dia Mirza and Priyanka Chopra responded to the post. Dia referred to Zarine as “a precious person” and honored her “legacy of love and kindness,” while Priyanka simply commented, “Angel.”

Zarine Khan is survived by her husband, Sanjay Khan, and their four children—Sussanne, Simone, Farah, and Zayed Khan. Earlier this year, they celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.
