Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) is preparing for a concentrated schedule in November as 18 flagship exhibitions and conferences converge on the venue, covering sectors such as food and beverage, construction, education, sustainability and retail. The series of gatherings is expected to attract international delegations and industry leaders for trade, innovation and collaboration.
Opening the month is Gulfood Manufacturing (Nov 4–6), now in its 11th edition. The global F&B manufacturing event brings together more than 2,500 exhibitors from 72 countries to showcase advances in food processing, packaging, automation and supply-chain technologies, alongside the FoodTech Summit and the Industry Excellence Awards.
Between November 11–13, DWTC will host several sector-focused fairs, including GESS Dubai, which highlights education technology and new learning approaches; Paperworld Middle East and Gift & Lifestyle Middle East, presenting stationery, office supplies and lifestyle goods; and World Tobacco Middle East, recognised as the largest B2B tobacco trade event outside Western Europe. During the same period, the International Council of Museums Conference (ICOM) runs from November 11–17 under the theme ‘The Future of Museums’, convening cultural experts to debate the sector’s next steps.
The mid-month calendar turns to retail and sourcing: Concept Big Brand Carnival (Nov 16–19) offers heavy discounts on premium fashion and lifestyle labels. Concurrent exhibitions include The Mining Show (Nov 17–18), VisionPlus Expo (Nov 17–18), Middle East Organic & Natural Products Expo (Nov 17–19) and the International Apparel & Textile Fair (Nov 17–19), each emphasising sustainability, innovation and procurement opportunities.
Food safety and knowledge exchange are also featured: the Dubai International Food Safety Conference (Nov 18–19) marks its 20th edition under the auspices of Dubai Municipality, while the Knowledge Summit (Nov 19–20) celebrates a decade of promoting global dialogue on sustainable development.
November culminates with Big 5 Global (Nov 24–27), one of the region’s largest construction industry showcases, expected to host around 2,800 exhibitors and some 85,000 participants from 165 countries. A suite of co-located events — including Windows, Doors & Facades, GeoWorld, HVACR World, LiveableCities X and Future FM — will address sustainable building practices, smart city solutions, climate-resilient design and facilities management.
This packed programme underlines DWTC’s role as a regional hub for commerce and innovation, reinforcing Dubai’s strategic position as a centre for international trade and industry expertise.
