Dubai Shopping Festival 2025–26: Expected Discounts, Offers and Prize Draws

Post by : Saif Nasser

The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2025–26 is scheduled to run from December 12, 2025, to January 26, 2026, delivering over a month of coordinated retail promotions, entertainment and prize draws across the city.

Retail centres across Dubai will again serve as the festival's backbone, with malls and markets aligning offers to attract both residents and international visitors. Leading destinations such as The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif and Ibn Battuta Mall are expected to be major hubs for the sales activity.

Organisers indicate headline discounts of up to 75% across categories including fashion, consumer electronics, home appliances, beauty and jewellery. Select merchants may stage additional short-duration flash sales with deeper markdowns.

High-street and fast-fashion brands are forecast to present substantial reductions. Labels such as Zara, H&M, Mango, Nike and Adidas, alongside premium casual names, typically roll out end-of-season pricing on clothing, footwear and accessories during DSF.

Luxury retailers in areas like Fashion Avenue of The Dubai Mall are expected to publish bespoke DSF pricing and promotional packages for upscale fashion houses and accessories brands.

Electronics retailers including Sharaf DG, Jumbo Electronics and Emax traditionally participate with lowered prices on smartphones, laptops, televisions and gaming consoles, making the festival a common period for consumer tech upgrades.

The jewellery sector, coordinated in part by the Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group, customarily offers incentive programmes during DSF. Past promotions have included 'buy gold, win gold' formats and complimentary tokens or coins for qualifying purchases.

Beauty and fragrance outlets are also positioned to offer bundled promotions, festive sets and percentage discounts. Retailers such as Sephora and specialist perfumers are likely to list curated deals for the festival window.

Home furnishing chains and décor outlets frequently use DSF to promote seasonal discounts on furniture, kitchenware and soft furnishings. Brands like Home Centre, IKEA and Pan Emirates often run campaigns aimed at year-end redecorating.

In addition to price reductions, DSF maintains a prominent raffle and prize element. Spending thresholds typically grant shoppers entry into daily or periodic draws that historically have included vehicles, gold and cash prizes.

One notable example is the Infiniti Mega Raffle, which in prior editions awarded an Infiniti vehicle plus cash amounts to winners on a regular basis during the festival period, underscoring the scale of incentive schemes.

Digital commerce platforms also participate, offering site-specific discounts, promotional codes and free-delivery initiatives for online shoppers who prefer remote purchase options during the festival.

Beyond transactional activity, DSF is structured as an events programme featuring citywide illuminations, live performances and family-oriented attractions. Venues including Global Village and Dubai Festival City Mall typically stage cultural and entertainment programming throughout the festival.

Iconic landmarks such as Burj Khalifa and Dubai Creek Harbour are usually integrated into the festival's visual programme via special light shows, enhancing the visitor experience and tourist appeal.

Food and beverage operators often introduce festival menus and dining discounts to complement retail traffic. Selected restaurants and pop-up outlets may provide set menus or percentage reductions aimed at festival patrons.

Tourism stakeholders commonly coordinate travel and accommodation packages to coincide with DSF, offering competitive fares and hotel rates designed to stimulate inbound visitation during the promotion period.

Overall, DSF 2025–26 is positioned to combine substantial retail markdowns with prize-driven incentives and a broad cultural programme, reinforcing Dubai's retail and tourist proposition during the year-end season.
