Dubai Shopping Festival 2025–26: Dates, Major Offers and Programme

Post by : Saif Nasser

Dubai, internationally recognised for luxury, lights and lifestyle, will once again stage the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) for the 2025–26 season. The annual event draws millions of visitors who come for deep discounts, prize draws and a broad programme of cultural and entertainment activities that extend beyond retail.

This edition of DSF starts on December 12, 2025, and concludes on January 26, 2026, offering more than a month of shopping, spectacles and promotions. Retail centres, traditional souks and e-commerce platforms across the emirate will participate, presenting seasonal offers on fashion, electronics, jewellery, fragrances and homeware.

Launched in 1996 to position Dubai as a premier shopping and tourism destination, the festival has evolved into one of the world s largest retail events. Its appeal lies in combining commercial incentives with cultural programming, attracting families, tourists and residents to concerts, exhibitions and public performances.

Shoppers can expect markdowns up to 75 percent at prominent malls including The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira and Ibn Battuta Mall. International chains such as Zara, H&M, Nike, Apple and Sephora are slated to run exclusive DSF promotions, while The Dubai Mall s Fashion Avenue will feature offers for luxury buyers. Meanwhile, souks and pop-up markets will cater to value-conscious customers with traditional goods, perfumes and gold jewellery at special prices.

A notable element of DSF is the daily raffle programme, where participants may win prizes ranging from luxury cars and gold coins to shopping vouchers and cash rewards. The Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group traditionally sponsors gold-focused promotions that give purchasers a chance to win gold bars and similar prizes.

Entertainment will run alongside retail activity, with international artists, fireworks displays, street acts and live concerts scheduled across the city. The opening night at Burj Park is expected to feature a large-scale production of lights, music and pyrotechnics to inaugurate the season.

Food offerings form an integral part of the festival experience. Restaurants, food trucks and curated food markets will present local and international cuisine, while dedicated food events and night markets will showcase a variety of flavours for visitors.

Families can visit attractions such as Global Village, which presents pavilions from over 90 countries alongside cultural performances and rides for children. Additional family-oriented programming, including fireworks and water shows, will take place at venues like Dubai Festival City Mall and Bluewaters Island.

For international travellers, DSF coincides with milder winter weather, making outdoor sightseeing and activities more appealing. Tourists can combine festival visits with desert safaris, beachfront walks or trips to landmarks such as Burj Khalifa and Dubai Frame. Airlines and hotels typically offer DSF packages and travel discounts during the festival.

Transport authorities commonly adjust services for the festival period, extending metro and bus operating hours to ease visitor movement. The city also implements security and parking arrangements at major venues to support a smooth experience for attendees.

Residents regard DSF as a seasonal highlight that injects activity into the city, supports local retailers and contributes to the broader economy. The event underscores Dubai s strategy of blending commercial promotion with cultural and entertainment-led attractions.

The Dubai Shopping Festival 2025–26 aims to build on past editions with expanded brand participation, enhanced entertainment lineups and fresh promotional opportunities for shoppers and tourists alike.

Plan ahead, check official schedules and promotions, and take advantage of the variety of offerings across Dubai during DSF 2025–26.
