H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, hosted a significant delegation comprising Africa's foremost business and philanthropic leaders to discuss avenues for enhanced collaboration. The focus of the discussions was on boosting efforts in culture, creativity, and social development while reinforcing lasting cultural and economic bonds between the UAE and African nations. Ideas were exchanged on supporting innovative and impactful projects that transcend regional boundaries.

Welcoming the delegation led by Badr Jafar, Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Business and Philanthropy, Sheikha Latifa underscored the importance of establishing substantial global partnerships with influencers who are shaping the future of cultural and economic advancement. She emphasized Dubai's emerging reputation as a global center for creativity and innovation, where knowledge sharing and interregional collaboration are thriving. She remarked on Dubai's commitment to fostering talent, encouraging cultural enrichment, and propelling human development alongside aligned regions.

Joining her were senior officials such as Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers; Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation; and Mansoor Hussain Lootah, CEO of the Corporate Enablement Sector and Chief AI Officer at Dubai Culture. Their attendance signified Dubai's unwavering commitment to advancing cultural partnerships and promoting collective developmental aspirations. The gathering reaffirmed the emirate's role as a global nexus for culture and creativity, where diverse ideas and perspectives converge to shape the future.

During the meeting, Sheikha Latifa expressed her admiration for the achievements and contributions made by the African delegation across a range of sectors. She highlighted the long-standing historical connections and shared values between the UAE and African countries, which continue to facilitate mutual understanding and sustained collaboration. The delegation featured prominent leaders like Abdul Samad Rabiu, Aliko Dangote, Dr. Elizabeth Jack-Rich Tein, Humphrey Kariuki, Johann Rupert, Mohammad Dewji, Sir Mo Ibrahim, Naguib Sawiris, Dr. Patrice Motsepe, Dr. Precious Moloi-Motsepe, Strive Masiyiwa, Tsitsi Masiyiwa, and Tony Elumelu.

Their involvement illustrated Africa's strong dedication to the realms of cultural development, social progress, and economic empowerment. The meeting emphasized the potential for Dubai and African partners to unite in creating new opportunities, supporting shared visions, and advancing global cooperation across culture, creativity, and philanthropy.
