In a remarkable achievement, Dubai International Airport (DXB) welcomed 24.2 million passengers during the third quarter of 2025, reflecting a 1.9% increase year-on-year. This boost brought total passenger traffic for the first nine months to an impressive 70.1 million, a growth of 2.1% compared to the same timeframe last year, while the rolling 12-month traffic reached 93.8 million by September.
Aircraft movements were equally noteworthy, with DXB recording 115,000 flights in Q3 and a total of 336,000 flights across all categories in the first nine months—a rise of 2.7% year-on-year. The average passengers per flight stood at 213, demonstrating optimal operational functionality.

CD Central (Concourse D, Terminal 1): Offering panoramic views of the airfield, modern lounges, and effortless retail access.
Looking ahead, preparations are in place for Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC) to evolve into the primary gateway by the early 2030s, envisioned as a smart, future-ready aviation hub.
