Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh is celebrating his 42nd birthday today, January 6, and has an exciting surprise in store for his fans. He has teased his upcoming international single, “Senorita”, a fascinating collaboration with the renowned Colombian artist J Balvin.

The teaser was shared on Instagram, where Diljit wrote: “Birthday Surprise with The Pride of Colombia. Big Brother J Balvin. Hello Balvinistas.” The lively video features vibrant floral decorations and a catchy background score, merging Punjabi and Latin beats to create an electrifying global party atmosphere. J Balvin makes a notable appearance towards the end. The complete video is expected to drop tomorrow, January 7.

J Balvin has made a significant mark in the Latin music scene, winning 11 Billboard Latin Music Awards, 6 Latin Grammys, 5 MTV Video Music Awards, and 7 Latin American Music Awards. His breakthrough hit, “6 AM” featuring Farruko, was released in 2014, making him the first Latino artist to headline at major festivals like Lollapalooza, Coachella, and Tomorrowland.

In addition to this, Diljit is gearing up for the launch of “Border 2”, a war drama directed by Anurag Singh, which serves as a spiritual sequel to the 1997 film Border by JP Dutta. The film features Diljit alongside Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty, with supporting performances from Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Medha Rana, and Anya Singh.

On January 2, the team behind the film unveiled “Ghar Kab Aaoge”, a modern reinterpretation of the original “Sandese Aate Hain”, featuring vocals from Diljit, Arijit Singh, Vishal Mishra, and Sonu Nigam. Produced by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in collaboration with JP Films, “Border 2” is inspired by the 1999 Kargil conflict and will be released in theaters on January 23.
