Dhurandhar Set to Be Ranveer Singh's Lengthiest Film to Date

Post by : Mina Rahman

The highly anticipated film Dhurandhar, featuring Ranveer Singh and helmed by Aditya Dhar, is on track to be his longest film ever. Sources indicate the current runtime is around three hours and five minutes, with the official duration to be confirmed soon, following consultations between the director and Jio Studios as well as B62 Studios.

Dhurandhar offers an elaborate storyline focused on Ranveer's character and his intriguing journey, addressing various challenges and personal stakes. The film's diverse cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, is set to deliver compelling performances that deepen the narrative, with each actor playing a crucial role in the story's progression. Director Aditya Dhar assures that each scene is crafted to captivate, avoiding any sense of hurriedness despite the film's length.

Inspired by true events, Dhurandhar unfolds against the dramatic backdrop of cross-border intelligence operations, blending elements of action, suspense, and drama. It seeks to authentically portray the challenges associated with high-stakes missions and the intense pressures faced by individuals involved. Audiences are expected to witness a powerful performance from Ranveer Singh, capturing the emotional intricacies of his character throughout this extended runtime.

The film’s trailer release, initially planned for November 15, has been postponed following the unfortunate Delhi Red Fort blast on November 10, as a mark of respect. Anticipation is high, as fans look forward to a film that promises not only thrilling action sequences but also a rich, layered narrative.

Scheduled for theatrical release on December 5, 2025, Dhurandhar is projected as a significant cinematic experience, likely to set a high standard in Ranveer Singh’s career. With its ambitious runtime, distinguished cast, and a plot drawn from real-life events, it is expected to create quite a stir among both audiences and critics, establishing itself as one of this year's most eagerly awaited films.
