Dhurandhar Day 27: Ranveer Singh’s Blockbuster Continues to Shine

Post by : Mina Rahman

As 2026 unfolds, Ranveer Singh celebrates a phenomenal triumph with his film Dhurandhar, which has been breaking box office barriers and solidifying its reputation as a landmark blockbuster. This captivating spy thriller has garnered immense popularity not only in India but also across international borders, receiving significant acclaim and drawing large crowds globally.

Since its release on December 5, Dhurandhar has reportedly garnered over ₹1117 crore worldwide by the 27th day. Recent figures indicate that on its 27th day, the film accrued ₹12.40 crore (nett), pushing its cumulative domestic earnings to ₹766.90 crore. This consistent revenue demonstrates the film’s unwavering strength at the Indian box office, even weeks post-release.

Globally, the film's earnings reached ₹1117.90 crore by day 27, including an impressive ₹250 crore from international markets. The holiday period around New Year’s Eve significantly contributed to its collections, with Dhurandhar achieving ₹712.25 crore net (₹854.5 crore gross) domestically after 26 days. These milestones make it the highest-grossing Bollywood film in the Indian market in 2026, and the second overall in Hindi cinema, next only to Pushpa 2’s impressive ₹812 crore net.

On the global stage, Dhurandhar ranks as the fourth-highest grossing Indian film in the US and Canada, having brought in $17 million. This figure exceeds collections from other notable films like Jawan and RRR in these regions, underscoring the film’s broad appeal.

In light of its noteworthy box office achievements, filmmakers are purportedly planning to release a revised version of Dhurandhar soon. This upcoming edition is expected to feature muted language and adjusted dialogues to adhere to directives from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Fans are eagerly anticipating this re-release along with the planned sequel.
