Deepinder Goyal Introduces Temple: A Revolutionary Brain Monitoring Tool

Post by : Mara Rahim

Deepinder Goyal, the founder of Zomato and CEO of Eternal, has unveiled a tantalizing preview of his latest invention, Temple, a compact device geared towards monitoring brain blood flow. He teased the gadget on Instagram, captioning it with “Getting there,” which sparked widespread intrigue. Observers previously noted Goyal sporting a small golden device on his right temple, further piquing curiosity. This latest post confirms its association with his ongoing research endeavors.

On LinkedIn, Goyal previously discussed that Temple is an experimental gadget engineered to accurately and continuously measure brain blood flow. This development emerged during his exploration of the Gravity Ageing Hypothesis. Just last month, he elaborated on a theory suggesting gravity might influence human ageing. He emphasized that his insights come from a place of scientific curiosity rather than corporate motivations.

Connecting three scientific principles, Goyal noted that small fluctuations in blood flow due to standing upright, key brain regions' sensitivity (like the hypothalamus), and their role in ageing regulation led him to ponder the importance of monitoring brain blood flow for better understanding of ageing. Temple was developed in line with this inquiry.

Despite controversies surrounding the Gravity Ageing Hypothesis, Goyal is confident in the device's significance. Having utilized Temple for over a year, he believes it holds potential as a prominent global health instrument. He pointed out that tracking brain blood flow is recognized as an indicator of ageing, cognitive function, and longevity — hence, the device's relevance remains intact regardless of the theory's outcome.

Goyal refuted suggestions that the hypothesis was merely a promotion strategy, asserting his intent is serious scientific inquiry rather than profit. He explained that Temple is merely a minor project in comparison to Eternal, driven by a pure desire to explore science. The research underpinning Temple is coordinated by Continue Research, which focuses on the nuances of human existence and ageing. Goyal revealed that his team has dedicated two years to explore biological research, ageing science, and methods to mitigate ageing. As interest mounts, Temple emerges as an innovative convergence of health technology and profound scientific exploration.
