Post by : Mina Rahman

Deepika Padukone affirms her status as a global fashion icon with yet another stunning moment featured in Harper’s Bazaar. The actress graces the cover in a striking black ensemble from Louis Vuitton's Cruise 2026 Couture collection, elegantly paired with exquisite Cartier jewellery.

The outfit includes an oversized black velvet top with full sleeves, featuring a unique front overlay and a long cloth panel to the ankle. Silver embellishments around the neckline and borders create a captivating chandelier effect. The design further incorporates a hooded skirt with a half balloon-frill, showcasing a blend of texture and couture aesthetics. Deepika completed her look with sleek, gelled hair, Cartier accessories, and chic black heels.

In her interview, Deepika reflected on her early modeling experiences, particularly her memorable runway for Wendell Rodricks in a flowing white dress before she transitioned into film. She noted that while production teams reached out early on, she felt the need to establish herself first. She shared, “I was just beginning in the world of glamour and show business, and I needed to settle a bit before I could transition… The timing of Om Shanti Om felt perfect.”

Deepika's previous collaborations with Louis Vuitton have created several iconic fashion moments, including her chic box shirt and frill skirt at a global event and her memorable oversized coat alongside a white hat, bold lipstick, and leather gloves.

With each stunning appearance, Deepika Padukone continues to cement her reputation as a fashion trendsetter, merging couture artistry with unmatched elegance.
