Tanya Mittal Criticized for Unappreciative Attitude on Bigg Boss 19

Post by : Mina Rahman

The recent episode of Bigg Boss 19 stirred significant debate among fans online. The latest task highlighted the contestants' social media growth, sparking some controversy.

During a ration task, contestants had the option to either add 10% more to their existing 30% ration or check their Instagram follower counts. While Ashnoor Kaur, Malti Chahar, and Pranit More opted for additional ration, Farrhana Bhatt, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, and Kunickaa Sadanand chose to review their follower metrics.

Farrhana celebrated a leap from 40,000 to 1 million followers, and Amaal was pleased with his growth to 5.2 million. However, Tanya Mittal's reaction was less enthusiastic, even as her followers jumped from 2.5 million to 3.7 million. She expressed to Farrhana and Kunickaa that she had expected to reach 5 million.

Social media users were quick to express their discontent with her attitude, labeling her as “ungrateful.” Some comments included:

  • “A spiritual person should be happy with gain or loss.”

  • “Time to unfollow her.”

  • “The follower factory slowed down, so she is upset.”

The episode also featured tension during the captaincy task. Bigg Boss presented Gaurav with a dilemma: choose to be captain himself—potentially jeopardizing the housemates' safety and ration—or allow Shehbaz to take the role, ensuring everyone’s safety and ration. Gaurav decided to take on the captaincy, leading to unrest among Amaal and Shehbaz, who deemed Bigg Boss “unfair.”

Upcoming promos suggest further conflicts, with Amaal and Farrhana confronting Gaurav, while Shehbaz offers an apology to Bigg Boss.
