Delhi High Court Demands Government Update

Her appeal follows a notice from the Delhi High Court to the Central Government, demanding a status report within a month concerning Major (Rtd.) Vikrant Kumar Jaitly's situation.

Celina has approached the High Court to seek legal and medical support for her brother through Indian authorities. In a recent directive, the court mandated the appointment of a nodal officer to facilitate communication between Celina’s family and the detained officer, ensuring he has access to legal counsel and medical care.

They noted that a nodal officer has been appointed to enhance communication between the family and the detained officer while also ensuring he receives necessary legal assistance. Major (Rtd.) Vikrant Kumar Jaitly, a distinguished officer in the Indian Army's special forces, was reportedly in the UAE on professional duties prior to his unclear detention. The reasons for his detention remain undisclosed.
