Khan Family Commemorates Milestone Anniversaries in Heartfelt Celebration

Post by : Mina Rahman

Joy filled the Khan home as they celebrated two significant milestones—celebrating veteran writer Salim Khan and Salma Khan’s 61st wedding anniversary alongside Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma’s 11th marriage anniversary. The family hosted a cozy gathering that resonated with music, laughter, and joyous memories, creating a vibrant atmosphere that delighted fans online.

Images and videos from the event illustrated a festive yet relaxed evening. Among the standout photos was one showcasing Salim and Salma in elegant light colors accompanied by Arpita and Aayush, while Salman Khan sported a simple black T-shirt, warmly embracing his nephew, Nirvan Khan. The dessert display became a focal point, featuring two exquisite white tiered cakes adorned with a striking macaron tower.

Helen, Salim Khan’s second wife, added to the warmth of the occasion, with Sonakshi Sinha also attending. Other moments captured included Arpita and Aayush cutting their cakes, feeding each other, and enjoying the presence of family. Arpita’s lively dance with her son Ahil added extra joy to the event, while Nirvan was spotted happily posing with everyone. Social media users cherished the family's bond, describing the gatherings as “heartwarming” and “filled with affection.”

Salim Khan and Salma wed in 1964, prior to his rise as a legendary writer in Hindi cinema, known for classics including Sholay, Zanjeer, and Deewar. Together, they raised four children—Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail, and Alvira—who remain significant personalities in the entertainment realm. Arpita and Aayush, who celebrated their marriage on 18 November 2014 after a lengthy romance, are now proud parents of two—Ayat and Ahil.

Salman Khan, who was also present, has a busy professional agenda. He recently appeared in Sikandar, made a guest appearance in Aryan Khan’s debut web series, and continues his role as host of Bigg Boss 19. His upcoming project, Battle of Galwan, featuring Chitrangda Singh and directed by Apoorva Lakhia, will portray the 2020 India–China conflict in the Galwan Valley, highlighting the fierce close combat involved.
