The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed Bill Gates, the Co-Founder of Microsoft and Chairman of the Gates Foundation, as a featured guest in the “MoFA Dialogues: Voices of Influence” series. In this engaging session, Gates emphasized the transformative potential of technology and innovation, while also spotlighting his philanthropic initiatives across health, education, and agriculture. Moderated by Badr Jafar, the Special Envoy for Business and Philanthropy, the dialogue fostered an insightful exchange.

The MoFA Dialogues initiative is designed to convene prominent global thinkers and experts to share valuable insights on pressing issues relevant to both the UAE and the broader world. The discussions cover a wide array of topics, including regional and international dynamics, foreign policy, artificial intelligence, and economic growth—offering a platform to explore future opportunities and challenges across various sectors.

Already, over 40 national projects, policies, and agreements have been approved to draw in skilled talent and significant investments, aligning with the UAE’s aspirations to evolve into a global technology and innovation hub in the next 20 years.

The UAE's steadfast dedication to AI, bolstered by national programs and strategic international alliances, underscores its ambition to be a frontrunner in technological advancement. The country envisions that solid foundations in advanced technologies will open new avenues for youth and future generations, ensuring sustainable growth, development, and competitiveness on the global stage.
