Bharti Singh Moved by Surprise Baby Shower in Mumbai

Post by : Mina Rahman

On November 16, comedian Bharti Singh, who recently shared her second pregnancy news, experienced an emotional surprise baby shower in Mumbai organized by the team from her show, Laughter Chefs. She was completely unaware of the plan, thinking she was called for a work-related meeting. In an Instagram video, Bharti expressed her initial shock at being unexpectedly surrounded by guests, humorously mentioning that some might feel left out since she was also in the dark about the celebration.

The venue was adorned with cheerful blue and pink balloons, featuring a charming sign that read, “We can barely wait.” Bharti donned a lovely blue outfit while the other attendees dressed in various shades of pink, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. She was presented with a tiara and sash labeled “mom-to-be,” alongside a delightful cake that proclaimed, “I vote girl.” Online videos captured joyful moments of dancing to London Thumakda as guests posed with Bharti.

The celebration drew numerous esteemed television personalities including Tejasswi Prakash, Arjun Bijlani, Jannat Zubair, Gurmeet Choudhary, Debina Bonnerjee, Krushna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah, Aly Goni, and Jasmin Bhasin. Jannat Zubair shared images from the occasion, captioned “Team baby girl,” reflecting Bharti’s own hopes for her upcoming child.

Already a mother to three-year-old Laksh, Bharti openly wishes for a baby girl this time around. In her vlogs, she expressed her dream of welcoming a daughter whom she can dress in beautiful lehengas and with adorable ponytails, inspired by Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s daughter, Dua.

Bharti is set to return as the host of Laughter Chefs Season 3 alongside Harpal Singh Sokhi. This new season will feature an array of celebrities such as Gurmeet Choudhary, Debina Bonnerjee, Tejasswi Prakash with Karan Kundrra, Elvish Yadav, Isha Malviya, Abhishek Kumar, Samarth Jurel, and Krushna Abhishek alongside Kashmera Shah. The show’s premiere is scheduled for November 22 and will also be streamable online.
