Tomorrow, the Kingdom of Bahrain will commemorate its 54th National Day alongside the 26th anniversary of King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa’s reign, observed each year on December 16. This milestone coincides with significant developmental progress and a modern renaissance influenced by the King's wise leadership.

The historical ties between Bahrain and Oman remain robust, bolstered by collaborative efforts across various domains, including politics, economics, social initiatives, and cultural exchanges. Bahrain has reached remarkable achievements in economic advancement, education, energy, logistics, and sustainable development, showcasing its continuous growth.

In 2025, Bahrain's economy demonstrated a 2.5% growth in GDP. The nation made strides in education by hosting a UNESCO award and creating technology-enhanced educational environments. In the realm of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Bahrain excelled, earning 97.5 points on the 2025 Communications and Technology Index, positioning it fifth among Arab countries.
