Ashlesha Savant and Sandeep Baswana Tie the Knot in a Quiet Vrindavan Ceremony

Post by : Mina Rahman

After over two decades together, actors Ashlesha Savant and Sandeep Baswana have officially tied the knot in a serene, traditional wedding. The couple shared moments from their special day via social media, allowing fans a peek into their elegant ceremony.

On Sunday, they announced their marriage, posting delightful photos from the event. Ashlesha wore a beautiful pink saree, while Sandeep complemented her in a light pink kurta-pyjama ensemble. In their post, they expressed their joy in starting this new journey together and thanked everyone for their support.

The wedding took place on November 16 at the Chandrodaya Temple in Vrindavan, attended by only close family members. This venue, significant to them, was chosen after they felt a profound spiritual connection during their recent visit to the Radha Krishna temples. This trip inspired them to formalize their relationship at long last. Sandeep shared that both families had anticipated this occasion and preferred an intimate, traditional ceremony.

Their romance began on the set of the popular show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2002, where Ashlesha played Teesha Mehta Virani, and Sandeep starred as Sahil Virani. Their friendship blossomed, and they eventually established a life together after years of shared moments.

Currently, Ashlesha is part of the TV drama Jhanak alongside Hiba Nawab and others, while Sandeep was last seen in Apollena – Sapno Ki Unchi Udann in 2024 without a new project announcement yet.
