Apple users had a tough time early morning on June 25 when several iCloud services stopped working for a few hours. The problem began around 12:06 AM IST and was fully fixed by 4:30 AM, according to Apple’s official System Status page.

The services that were affected included:

  • iCloud Mail

  • Photos

  • Find My

  • iCloud Account & Sign-In

  • iCloud Web Apps (like iCloud.com)

One of the main services that didn’t work properly was Find My, which helps users find their Apple devices or share their location with others. This service had problems between 12:10 AM and 3:00 AM.

Apple shared the same message for all affected services: "Some users were affected" and "may have experienced a problem with access or performance."

A website called Downdetector, which tracks online service problems, showed a big rise in complaints around 1:15 AM. At its highest point, there were 908 reports. Most people (about 50%) had trouble with email. Others faced problems with server connection (26%) or syncing and accessing files (24%).

Many users shared their issues online.
Some common problems included:

  • Being asked again and again to “sign into Apple ID”

  • Not able to send or receive emails

  • Messages showing “sender invalid”

  • iCloud not syncing between Apple devices

Here’s what users said:“My iCloud just randomly stopped syncing, and I lost access to photos and mail.” “I kept getting Apple ID sign-in prompts over and over again.”

What Apple Said

As usual, Apple didn’t share any detailed reason behind the outage. But the company confirmed that all services are now working fine. Users don’t need to do anything, and everything is back to normal.

Apple’s system status page now shows green lights for all services, which means everything is running smoothly again.
