Anupam Kher and Ajinkya Rahane Recap a Turbulent Flight Experience

Post by : Mina Rahman

Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher recently shared a startling travel experience with Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane that left them both taken aback. On Monday, the actor posted a video on social media which detailed their flight journey from Delhi to Mumbai.

In the video, Kher recounted a nerve-wracking incident during which the plane, after hitting the runway, unexpectedly ascended again, causing fear among the passengers. “It was wonderful traveling with you from Delhi to Mumbai! I’ve always revered your skills as a player, but your humility and grace as an individual really resonated with me! Apologies, my language was quite refined until our plane landed, and then suddenly took off again,” he expressed.

Adding a dash of humor, he mentioned, “That frightening moment made it tough for me to remain composed, and some choice Hindi words slipped out! But the silver lining is that we will remember each other for more than one reason! Sending love and prayers your way! Jai Hind!”

In the video, Kher fondly acknowledged Rahane, stating, “You are a remarkable person, and what an experience we shared. After the plane landed, it took off again. I will always remember you, not just for your skills but now for this adventure too. You're incredibly brave, given what happened with me. You are an impressive athlete and a great human being. Wishing you and your family the best!” Rahane affectionately replied, calling the meeting a “lovely encounter.”

Rahane was in Mumbai to participate in the 78th Police Invitation Shield Cricket Tournament, where he attended a felicitation event with high-ranking officials from the Mumbai Police and the Mumbai Cricket Association.

Meanwhile, Anupam Kher is set to appear in multiple upcoming projects, including an untitled film with Prabhas directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and a collaboration with acclaimed director Sooraj Barjatya, marking his 549th film.
