OnePlus Turbo Series Set to Launch in Early 2026 with Impressive Features

Post by : Mara Rahim

OnePlus is gearing up to unveil its new Turbo smartphone series, anticipated to debut as early as January 2026. Targeting users who prioritize performance and longevity, these Turbo models are set to provide rapid processing and extended usage without frequent recharges.

Leaks indicate that the inaugural Turbo phone may come with an astonishing 9,000mAh battery, marking a first for both OnePlus and Oppo. This battery is likely to feature a dual-cell design to enhance charging speeds and manage heat, ensuring optimal performance. Alongside this, the device is expected to incorporate a top-tier chipset and a high-refresh OLED display, possibly measuring around 6.78 inches with refresh rates up to 165Hz, focusing on gamers and heavy users.

The exact processor remains uncertain, with some leaks pointing to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while others suggest options like the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 for at least one variant, internally designated the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo. Regardless, OnePlus has officially acknowledged the Turbo series, vowing robust performance and industry-leading battery life.

The Turbo series may lean towards gaming, featuring improved cooling systems, refined haptics, and potential accessories, although these specifics are yet to be confirmed. When compared to the flagship OnePlus 15, the Turbo devices could deliver similar high-end performance while boasting larger batteries and enhanced cooling solutions.

Though pricing details remain undisclosed, expectations are that this series will fall into the premium category, akin to other high-end offerings from OnePlus. The first launch is expected to occur in China in early 2026, with subsequent releases in markets like India shortly thereafter. Should these leaks prove accurate, the OnePlus Turbo series could set a new benchmark for aggressive, performance-driven smartphones by the brand.
