This year, following the triumph of its inaugural event, Animenia aims to whisk attendees away to Neo-Tokyo, providing an exhilarating experience that melds creativity, tech, and nostalgia. Festival-goers can expect beloved anime realms to come alive through grand scene recreations, gaming stations, and live showcases celebrating Japanese pop culture.
With an array of activities such as J-Pop shows, Anisong performances, themed food stalls, and shopping areas, Animenia 2026 seeks to engage both seasoned anime enthusiasts and casual fans. Featuring a remarkable AED400,000 prize pool, the competition will recognize victors across various categories such as Best in Craftsmanship, Best in Performance, and Animenia’s Spark Award.
