Amitabh Bachchan Offers Cryptic Thoughts as Dharmendra Recovers

Post by : Mina Rahman

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog on Thursday with an enigmatic message: "Reconcile...and reconcile with what.... when the reconciliation breeds none... Each day a moment of adversity... and the strength needed to cope and survive."

This post follows a viral video of the actor driving his BMW in Juhu, prompting fans to wonder if he visited his close friend Dharmendra, who was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday after treatment.

On Wednesday evening, Amitabh was seen maneuvering through a throng of paparazzi in Juhu, Mumbai, pausing momentarily as fans and media clamored for a glimpse of the star behind the wheel.

Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra have appeared together in numerous iconic films, including Sholay, Chupke Chupke, and Ram Balram.

Continued Recovery for Dharmendra at Home

Dharmendra was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday afternoon, having been admitted since October 31. Dr. Pratit Samdani, who managed his treatment, confirmed that the beloved actor will now recover at home.

A family statement noted: "Mr. Dharmendra has been released from the hospital and will continue to recuperate at home. We kindly ask the media and public to respect his and the family's privacy and avoid further speculation during this period. We’re grateful for all the love, prayers, and well-wishes for his continued recovery and good health. Please treat him with respect as he cares for you all."

Renowned for films such as Sholay, Dharam Veer, Chupke Chupke, and Mera Gaon Mera Desh, Dharmendra was last featured in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.

He will next appear in Ikkis, which stars Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, set for release on December 25.
