Ajaz Khan Faces FIR for Spreading Fake News and Inappropriate Video

Post by : Mina Rahman

An FIR has been lodged against Ajaz Khan, a well-known figure from Bigg Boss, for disseminating fake news and offensive material via social media. This case was registered at the Crime Branch in Indore.

Confirming the development, Rajesh Dandotiya, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Indore), remarked that Khan was summoned to the police station following the complaint.

“An FIR has been registered against actor AjazKhan for distributing fake news and inappropriate content on social media. Following the official complaint, he was issued a notice and reported to the station to provide his statement. His mobile device has been confiscated in relation to a case dating back two months. Numerous false news reports associated with this incident have circulated online. Thirty-two accounts have been blocked, and complaints have been filed against 68 additional accounts,” the ADCP stated.

The allegations involve a video featuring highly offensive content shared from Khan’s social media account. The actor was at the police station for three hours while being questioned. Legal procedures have been duly followed in initiating action.

This isn’t the first time Ajaz Khan has encountered legal trouble owing to his social media activities. Previously, an FIR was filed against him for an inappropriate post aimed at a YouTuber and his family. The post allegedly included offensive, libelous, and obscene remarks, complete with derogatory gestures and misinformation.

Earlier in October, the Delhi High Court granted Ajaz Khan anticipatory bail, mandating that he post a bond of Rs 30,000 and secure a surety in case of any arrest.

Authorities have reiterated their commitment to monitoring the dissemination of fake news and objectionable content on social media, ensuring that those who breach the law will face appropriate legal consequences.
