Aishwarya Sharma Addresses Divorce Rumors and Trolling

Post by : Mina Rahman

Aishwarya Sharma, renowned for her performance in the popular series Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, has recently spoken out regarding swirling rumors about her separation from husband and actor Neil Bhatt.

In an Instagram post, the actress shared her perspective, pushing back against the misconceptions surrounding her life and criticizing internet trolls for disseminating untrue narratives and branding her a bully.

She stated, "People are forming their own theories about my life, my actions, and my character… without knowing a single truth. Some even imply that 'karma is a bitch'. Before accepting any of that, consult those who truly worked with me. Speak to my co-actors. Inquire from my producers. Anyone on my set will confirm that I have never bullied, disrespected, or hurt anyone. My sole aim has been to uphold professionalism on set."

Aishwarya also expressed that since her engagement to Neil Bhatt, she has been subject to relentless trolling. "Since my engagement, I've faced a barrage of trolling. I've dealt with it with my head held high, yet no one acknowledges that I am the real target of bullying. Why is that overlooked? Moreover, strangers keep sending me documents and YouTube links that attach my name to fabricated stories… alleging that I bullied someone, that I slapped someone, or behaved inappropriately."

She affirmed that the circulating claims about her are completely untrue and elaborated that she remained silent because her words often got misinterpreted. "Let me be unequivocal: I have NEVER bullied anyone. Those spreading falsehoods for personal gain should contemplate their own karma. You advocate for mental health… yet think before making hurtful statements about someone you don’t even know. Some opt for silence, and I’m among them. But silence does not grant you a license to speak recklessly. I will stand my ground and safeguard my dignity."

Earlier this month, rumors emerged suggesting that Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma were on the verge of divorce after four years of marriage. Sources reported that the couple had been living apart for some time and had initiated divorce proceedings, although the reasons for their split remained unclear. Neil's absence from Aishwarya's Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthi posts further intensified speculation about their relationship.
