Air Arabia has officially commenced its daily non-stop flights between Sharjah and Munich, marking the airline's inaugural direct connection to Germany from the UAE. The service utilizes the airline’s state-of-the-art Airbus A320neo, ensuring passengers a comfortable and efficient travel experience. A special ceremony at Munich Airport celebrated the inaugural flight, attended by key officials from Air Arabia as well as airport representatives.

Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, expressed that this new route boosts the airline's footprint in Europe and enhances travel choice for passengers. He noted that establishing a direct link between Sharjah and Munich is a pivotal advancement in Air Arabia’s European ambitions and a step towards enhancing passenger convenience. Oliver Dersch, Senior Vice President Aviation at Munich Airport, praised the new route for enhancing connectivity for passengers traveling between the GCC and Germany.

The Sharjah-Munich service expands Air Arabia’s growing European routes, which already include destinations such as Vienna, Athens, Milan Bergamo, Krakow, and Warsaw Chopin. Future additions to the network will likely encompass Warsaw Modlin and Prague.

Travelers on this route will benefit from modern amenities aboard the A320neo, which focuses on both passenger comfort and reducing environmental footprints.

These new flights aim to cater to both business and leisure travelers, facilitating seamless connections for residents of the UAE and Europe without extended layovers. With this direct route, Air Arabia continues on its trajectory of expanding its international network, solidifying its reputation as a leading low-cost airline in the region.
