Aamir Khan Attends Reena Datta's Art Exhibition in a Heartfelt Gesture

Bollywood star Aamir Khan showcased his friendly demeanor by surprising attendees at his ex-wife Reena Datta’s art exhibition. Reena took to social media to share moments of this special occasion, expressing her heartfelt thanks for Aamir’s support.

On Friday, she uploaded various snapshots with Aamir from her exhibition held at the Nehru Centre Art Gallery, scheduled from November 18 to 24, 2025. The images captured Aamir, looking stylish in a green kurta and black Nehru jacket, as he engaged with guests and explored the showcased art. Reena commented, “When your ex surprises you and appears for your exhibition. Thank you Aamir for your unwavering support in my artistic journey. #dropletsofpaint #chitrasutraartacademy. Fans expressed their joy over Aamir’s presence, with comments like, “That’s so sweet” and “Cute,” as many congratulated Reena on her achievements in art.

Aamir and Reena’s bond dates back to a time before the actor became famous. They were neighbors who initially exchanged glances before Aamir won her over. Their secret marriage lasted 16 years, during which they had two children, Junaid and Ira. While Junaid has ventured into acting, Ira prefers a life outside the public eye.

Aamir has been open about the challenges he faced after their divorce. In previous interviews, he discussed battling depression and his struggles with alcohol following their separation. “When Reena and I separated, I drank an entire bottle of alcohol that same night. For the next year and a half, I drank every day. I couldn’t sleep. I would just pass out from drinking. I was trying to kill myself,” he revealed.

After parting ways with Reena, Aamir wed Kiran Rao, and they share custody of their son, Azad. They too separated in 2021 but maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship. Recently, Aamir introduced his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, who he reconnected with after meeting 25 years ago.

With his continued support for Reena, Aamir Khan exemplifies that amicable relationships post-separation can flourish while celebrating both personal and professional milestones of those around him.
