Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt marked their daughter Raha Kapoor's third birthday on Thursday with a delightful family gathering. The intimate celebration allowed fans a rare insight into the close relationships within the Kapoor and Bhatt families, as Raha's grandmothers, Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan, shared moments from the event on their Instagram Stories.
A heartwarming photo shared by veteran actress Neetu Kapoor features her alongside Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Nitasha Nanda, and other friends, exuding joy. Neetu donned a chic golden outfit, while Soni opted for a casual red-and-white look, and Shaheen appeared graceful in her blue dress. Neetu captured the essence of the day with the caption, “Raha’s fam jam,” reflecting the warm vibes of the celebration.
Another special moment included Rani Mukerji, who joined the festivities to celebrate with the Kapoor-Bhatt family. A picture showed Rani casually chatting with Neetu and other family members, dressed in a relaxed shirt and jeans. Neetu later showcased her 'girl gang' in another post, complementing it with a cheerful GIF, solidifying the joyful spirit of the occasion. Soni Razdan also shared her own moment featuring Neetu, Reema Jain, and other close friends, affectionately wishing, “Happy Birthday, darling Raha.”
While the couple tends to keep Raha away from public view, the third birthday party unfolded as a tender affair with only family and close companions in attendance. The glimpses offered online provided fans a rare look into their private life, emphasizing the familial bonds between the Kapoor and Bhatt families.
Born in November 2022, Raha is the couple's first child, following their marriage in April 2022. They introduced Raha to the world during Christmas 2023 for a memorable ambience with the press. Nonetheless, Alia made headlines earlier this year by removing Raha's images from her social media, highlighting her commitment to her daughter's privacy as she grows.
In a recent conversation, Alia Bhatt reflected on how motherhood has influenced her artistic journey. She shared that Raha subtly inspires her creativity, hoping to craft content enjoyable for her daughter in the future. Expressing her yearning to venture into comedy, Alia noted, “I haven’t created a film for Raha to watch yet. It’s essential to find something that sparks inspiration.” She emphasized that motherhood has added depth and purpose to her artistic endeavors.
The celebration of Raha Kapoor’s third birthday was more than just a milestone; it was a heartfelt manifestation of family love and connection. Filled with laughter and warmth, the day blended intimacy and star allure, marking yet another treasured chapter in the lives of Ranbir, Alia, and their little Raha.
