Doctor shares 8 unusual signs that show your body is healthy

Post by : Saif Nasser

In today’s busy world, many people often worry about their health and interpret normal bodily functions as signs of illness. While it is good to be cautious, some unusual signs may actually indicate that your body is functioning well. Dr. Toluwani Binutu, a graduate of the College of Medicine at the University of Nigeria, shared eight such signs on his Instagram account, explaining that these seemingly strange cues reveal a healthy internal system.

One of the most surprising signs is that your poop smells in the toilet. Although this might seem unpleasant, Dr. Binutu says it is a positive indicator that your gut is absorbing nutrients efficiently. A flat belly in the morning is another sign that your body is healthy, as it shows digestion, water balance, and inflammation are resetting overnight.

The doctor also points out that a natural armpit scent, noticeable but not bad, is normal. This signature scent is not body odor caused by bacteria, but a natural and healthy bodily function. Similarly, drooling during sleep, especially after a long and exhausting day, is a sign that facial muscles are fully relaxed and the body is entering deep recovery mode.

Individuals who tolerate cold better than others may also have healthy metabolism and functioning brown fat, according to Dr. Binutu. Random sighing throughout the day is another natural sign that helps the body reset internally and replenish energy. Additionally, belly rumbles when hungry are a normal part of the gut’s cleaning cycle, reflecting ongoing digestive maintenance.

Finally, urine color can indicate hydration levels. Pale yellow urine, rather than completely clear, shows proper hydration without over-diluting essential salts and nutrients. Dr. Binutu emphasizes that these eight signs, while sometimes overlooked, demonstrate that your body’s digestive system, metabolism, and overall processes are functioning correctly.

He advises people not to panic over these natural bodily behaviors. While regular medical check-ups and a balanced lifestyle remain essential, understanding these subtle indicators can help individuals feel reassured about their health. By paying attention to such signs, people can gain a clearer understanding of their body’s functioning and maintain confidence in their well-being.
