In a bold move towards digital advancement, the UAE government has unveiled an ambitious transformation initiative designed to integrate cutting-edge artificial intelligence in public services.

Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister, discussions focused on a new framework to incorporate Agentic AI throughout governmental operations.

This review was attended by key figures including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum along with senior officials.

The initiative is set to revolutionize 50% of government sectors and services in the next two years through the implementation of Agentic AI methodologies. These systems will automate decision-making processes and operational tasks with minimal human input.

During the briefing, it was emphasized that the project aims to enhance service quality, accelerate governmental processes, and boost overall efficiency, leveraging sophisticated digital infrastructure alongside federated data systems.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has outlined the strategic focus on enhancing the nation’s role in artificial intelligence and progressive governance.

Key officials, including Omar Sultan Al Olama and Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, confirmed that this transformative project is already underway under high-level oversight.

Additional aspects of the initiative include developing national AI expertise, expediting decision-making, and improving proactive service delivery. The ultimate goal is to create government operations that are more efficient, responsive, and accessible around the clock.

This transformation embodies the UAE’s long-term aspirations to lead globally in AI-enhanced governance and public service that prioritizes community needs.

Expected outcomes of the project include a redefined approach to delivering government services, characterized by speed, intelligence, and improved access for citizens and businesses alike.
