UAE Officials Extend Congratulations to Morocco for Arab Cup Victory

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, was among the first to congratulate Morocco’s King Mohammed VI following the national team's triumph in the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 held in Qatar on Thursday. This victory signifies a remarkable milestone for Moroccan football, culminating in a thrilling final against Jordan.

In a social media announcement on platform X, Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the Moroccan team's outstanding performance while also acknowledging the Jordanian side for their resilience throughout the tournament. He noted that both teams exhibited “excellence and pride,” embodying the rich talent and sporting spirit within the region.

Furthermore, he praised Qatar for its exceptional hosting of the tournament, recognizing the country’s capabilities in delivering a memorable Arab Cup and offering a lively atmosphere for both teams and supporters.

Also conveying his congratulations, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, referred to the final as “distinguished,” reflecting the high-quality competition on display.

In addition, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan acknowledged Morocco’s success while commending Jordan's impressive campaign. He praised the “honourable performance and competitive spirit” showcased by both finalists during the decisive match.

Celebrating Morocco’s championship success, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed gratitude towards Qatar for its outstanding organisation and hospitality throughout the tournament.

Morocco’s victory enhances its reputation in regional football, while Jordan gained significant respect for their strong performance in reaching the finals. The tournament concluded on a high note of celebration, symbolizing unity and sportsmanship across the Arab world, with leaders and fans honoring the achievements of both teams and their hosts.
