Abu Dhabi: As 2026 approaches, leaders of the UAE have shared their uplifting New Year messages, emphasizing hope, unity, and the nation's continuous development.
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan took to social media to wish citizens and residents a vibrant new year full of determination. He underscored the critical role of unity, progress, and collective prosperity. Sheikh Mohamed remarked,
"Best wishes for the New Year. In our celebrations, let us greet the upcoming year with renewed hope and commitment to unity, progress, and prosperity for everyone."
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, conveyed his hopes for a year characterized by stability, security, and ongoing growth. Via his X (formerly Twitter) account, Sheikh Mohammed shared:
"Wishing our nation a joyous and prosperous new year, a time for stability, security, and continuous advancement. I wish the world peace and goodness, and I extend sincere hopes for happiness, success, and achievements in all our endeavors this year."
He also expressed optimism for the year ahead, stating,
"We face the coming year with hope and confidence, believing it will be our most successful yet, yielding real achievements, economic excellence, and strengthened international cooperation, enriching the lives of our people."
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, shared his sincere New Year well-wishes. As he reflected on national and personal aspirations, he wished for peace and divine blessings. He remarked,
"Building upon our accomplishments, we strive to create a glowing future for generations to come. Our shared values and unity are our pride, and with aspirations that are limitless, we persist in driving leadership and shaping progress."
