The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Dominican Republic have joined hands to work together on improving government services and building future skills. This new partnership focuses on sharing knowledge, training people, and helping both countries get better at running their governments.

This agreement is part of the UAE Government Experience Exchange Programme. This special programme helps the UAE share its best ideas and smart ways of working with other countries around the world. It also fits into the UAE’s goal to build stronger relationships with countries in the Caribbean.

The partnership was officially signed by Abdulla Nasser Lootah, the UAE’s Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange, and Luis Madera Sued, the Dominican Republic’s Deputy Minister of Planning and Public Investment.

Mr. Lootah said that adding the Dominican Republic to the programme shows that more countries now trust and admire the UAE’s way of improving government systems. He also said that the UAE wants to keep building strong ties with Caribbean countries, especially by sharing knowledge and helping each other grow.

He explained that the programme is like a global classroom where countries learn from each other about how to run a government well. The goal is to help governments do better, make life better for people, and be ready for the future.

Mr. Luis Madera Sued also shared his thoughts. He said the Dominican Republic is very interested in working closely with the UAE, especially in areas like improving how the government works. He believes this partnership will help support his country’s long-term goals and future plans.

This partnership shows how countries can support each other by learning and growing together.
