At the premiere of Glen Powell’s anticipated film, The Running Man, Tom Cruise lent his enthusiastic support, recounting his experience with fans on Instagram.

The star of Mission: Impossible posted an upbeat image alongside Powell, both holding custom popcorn boxes featuring the movie's title. Following that, he shared a group shot with director Edgar Wright and co-stars Coleman Domingo, Lee Pace, and Emilia Jones.

“What an amazing night at the movies with friends! You all did such a fantastic job—congratulations! I laughed, was on the edge of my seat, and indulged in plenty of popcorn,” Cruise expressed.

Powell reciprocated the praise, sharing similar images and jokingly addressing Cruise: “The Running Man meets THE Running Man.”

This isn't the first occasion Cruise has shown his support for Powell. During the London premiere of Twisters, Cruise attended, causing Powell to caption their shared image: “When your wingman enters the storm with you.”

Both actors collaborated previously in 2022’s blockbuster, Top Gun: Maverick, which achieved a staggering $1.5 billion in global box office revenue.

Contestants, termed Runners, must endure 30 days while being hunted by lethal assassins, with each day broadcast to a ravenous audience, and each survivor earning escalating cash rewards.

Audiences can expect to see The Running Man in theaters on November 14.
