Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan assessed the ongoing developments in Al Ain's energy and water sectors, highlighting key projects aimed at bolstering infrastructure readiness and promoting sustainable community services.
This assessment took place during a meeting with representatives from the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy and TAQA, led by Dr Abdulla Humaid Al Jarwan, the Department's Chairman.
Sheikh Hazza received updates on strategic plans aimed at enhancing resilience and improving crisis response capabilities within the energy and water sectors. Discussions also revolved around ensuring reliable services during emergencies, thus supporting the sustainability and security of these vital areas in Al Ain.
The meeting reviewed several key infrastructure initiatives, including expansion and development projects designed to accommodate the increasing population and urbanization in the region. These initiatives aim to enhance operational efficiency and deliver superior services to residents.

Present at the meeting were Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Engineer Ahmed Mohamed Al Rumaithi (Undersecretary of the Department of Energy), and Jasim Husain Thabet (Group CEO and Managing Director of TAQA), along with various other officials from both organizations.
