On Tuesday morning, a significant accident transpired on the Delhi-Agra Expressway close to Mathura, attributed to dense fog significantly impairing visibility. This tragic incident involved a collision with seven buses and three cars, resulting in the loss of at least four lives and leaving 25 individuals injured in the extensive pile-up.

In the aftermath, several vehicles were engulfed in flames, prompting panic among those onboard. Local authorities, including police, fire services, and medical personnel, rapidly arrived at the scene to provide assistance.

Senior law enforcement officials have indicated that recovery efforts are ongoing, ensuring that all injured parties are receiving necessary medical treatment. Fortunately, none of the hospitalized victims are reported to be in a critical state. Additionally, arrangements are being made to safely transport stranded passengers back to their homes.

District officials have expressed deep concern over the incident, labeling it as "extremely unfortunate." Their immediate priority is to focus on relief efforts and to guarantee that the injured are tended to promptly.

This devastating collision follows a similar incident just one day prior on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, where hazardous fog conditions led to numerous casualties.

Authorities have assured that a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the Mathura crash will take place once the relief operations conclude. Meanwhile, all governmental resources are being mobilized to address the aftermath and assist affected individuals.
