Tunisian Prime Minister Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri met with Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), in Tunis. The meeting was also attended by Tunisia’s Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Abdelhafidh, and Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Tunisia, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr, along with other officials.

During their discussions, they talked about how Tunisia and Saudi Arabia can work more closely to help develop important projects. They spoke about the strong friendship between the two countries, which has lasted for more than fifty years. Saudi Arabia has been helping Tunisia by giving funds for many big development projects.

Mr. Al-Marshad also met with Tunisia’s Minister of Health, Dr. Mustapha Ferjani, along with the Saudi ambassador. In this meeting, they discussed the health projects that are already being supported by the Saudi Fund for Development. They also explored ways to help Tunisia improve its health sector further.

These meetings were part of Mr. Al-Marshad’s official visit to Tunisia. During this visit, Saudi Arabia is planning to sign a development loan agreement worth over $38 million with Tunisia’s Ministry of Economy and Planning. This money will be used to support important infrastructure projects in Tunisia, which will benefit people across the country.
