This landmark achievement reinforces Dubai’s status as a pivotal hub for aviation and a leader in advancing both aviation and space technologies.
Over five vibrant days, this 19th edition welcomed an astonishing number of attendees, reaching 248,788 visitors. The diverse crowd included industry professionals, executives, and key decision-makers from around the globe, establishing it as one of the most attended Airshows ever.
More than 1,500 exhibitors were showcased, including 440 first-time participants. Additionally, the event attracted 490 military and civilian delegations from 115 nations. Attendees explored 21 national pavilions, 98 chalets, and an expanded exhibition space of 8,000 square metres, featuring contributions from 120 startups and 50 investors with groundbreaking ideas.
A standout moment was Emirates’ announcement of a monumental aircraft order worth USD 41.4 billion, which includes 65 additional Boeing 777-9 aircraft and eight Airbus A350-900 jets. This expands Emirates’ total wide-body aircraft commitment to 375, scheduled for delivery through 2038.
flydubai also garnered headlines by entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Boeing for 75 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft valued at USD 13 billion, illustrating Dubai’s strategic plan to enhance its aviation sector.
This year’s show prominently featured space technology, hosting its largest Space Pavilion organized in collaboration with the UAE Space Agency. A two-day Space Conference convened over 50 astronauts and space specialists to explore topics such as commercial interests, international cooperation, and the evolution of global space exploration.
Sustainability was a focal point, with exhibitors using sustainable aviation fuel while all exhibition halls utilized renewable energy sources. Ground operations employed electric and propane-fueled equipment in collaboration with Jetex, underscoring Dubai’s commitment to greener aviation practices.
Dubai's governmental bodies ensured efficient operations and seamless visitor experiences, reflecting outstanding planning and coordination at the venue and its surroundings.
Centered on the theme “The Future is Here,” the 19th edition highlighted innovative aviation and defense technologies, reinforcing Dubai’s significant role in fostering aerospace advancements.
