Ranveer Singh Unveils Arjun Rampal’s Intense Look from Dhurandhar

Post by : Mina Rahman

Fans have been buzzing with anticipation for the trailer of Aditya Dhar’s upcoming film, Dhurandhar, since its first image surfaced in July. Prior to the trailer release, the filmmakers delighted audiences with a dynamic new poster that features Arjun Rampal in a commanding and fierce role, generating a flurry of excitement online.

On Saturday, Ranveer Singh took to Instagram to reveal Arjun Rampal’s striking look. In this poster, Arjun dons a crew-cut hairstyle, a full beard, and an intense expression, completing his look with sunglasses, a leather jacket, and a cigar. Ranveer captioned the post, “The Angel of Death. The countdown begins – 4 Days To Go! #DhurandharTrailer releases on 12th November at 12:12 PM.”

The comments section was quickly filled with admiration for Rampal’s “deadly” and electrifying appearance. Fans drew parallels to memorable villain roles, with one commenting, “When Arjun Rampal plays the villain, it takes two SRKs to counter him. I'm curious how many Ranveer Singhs it’ll take this time.” Others humorously likened his look to Bobby Deol’s in Animal, dubbing it the “Bobby Deol-ification of Arjun!”

Dhurandhar is directed by Aditya Dhar and produced under B62 Studios by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. The film showcases Ranveer Singh in the lead role, with a stellar cast including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal.

There are speculations that the film draws elements from the life of India’s esteemed super spy and National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, known for his strategic role in surgical strikes. The filmmakers have remained discreet regarding these speculations, merely hinting that the narrative is inspired by genuine events.

The eagerly awaited trailer is set to premiere on November 12 at 12:12 PM, with the film expected to release in theaters on December 5.
