In a video posted on her Instagram account, Shalini revealed her unique “Protein and Collagen Laddu,” prepared using only three everyday ingredients — aliv seeds, whole black urad dal, and black sesame seeds. She claims these components are packed with nutrients that diminish hair loss, enhance skin texture, and elevate natural luminosity.

A Natural Enhancement for Skin and Hair

According to Shalini, diet is more pivotal for skin and hair health than any topical product. “What you consume is crucial for your skin and hair care,” she articulated.

She elaborated that this simple laddu promotes collagen production — a vital protein that preserves skin elasticity and youthfulness. It also strengthens and adds shine to hair. “For naturally glowing skin and vibrant hair, this recipe is perfect for you,” Shalini emphasized.

1. Aliv seeds (garden cress seeds):

2. Whole black urad dal:
