In a pivotal development for India's technology sector, Meta Platforms, Inc.’s Facebook Overseas has secured a 30% stake in a groundbreaking AI initiative led by Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries. This new entity, named Reliance Enterprise Intelligence Ltd (REIL), was officially registered on October 24, 2025, representing a strategic alignment in the enterprise AI domain.
With Reliance Industries maintaining a 70% share through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Reliance Intelligence Ltd, both organizations have pledged an initial investment of Rs 855 crore to curate, promote, and deliver innovative AI solutions specifically designed for enterprise clients.
