Iran Denies Nuclear Talks After War U.S. Strike Claims Disputed

After a deadly 12-day war between Iran and Israel, tensions are still high. The United States claimed it seriously damaged Iran's nuclear sites during powerful airstrikes, saying some underground facilities were “destroyed.” But Iran says that’s not true and accused the U.S. of exaggerating the damage for political reasons.

Iran’s top leaders, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, denied that they are planning to restart nuclear talks with the U.S. They also said America’s attacks didn’t hurt their nuclear program as badly as claimed.

Khamenei called the war a “victory” for Iran and said the U.S. was trying to cover up its failures. Iran’s parliament even passed a law to stop working with the UN’s nuclear agency. Araghchi made it clear there are no new talks planned and people shouldn't believe the rumors.

Meanwhile, the U.S. said their bombers hit major nuclear sites with powerful bunker-buster bombs, claiming to have "obliterated" parts of Iran’s nuclear program. But some reports now say the damage may only delay Iran’s progress by a few months.

The real impact of the strikes is still unclear. Some U.S. intelligence sources say Iran might have moved nuclear material before the attacks. Iran denies this.

Over 600 civilians in Iran died from the Israeli strikes, while Iranian missile attacks killed 28 in Israel, making this the deadliest conflict between the two countries so far.

Despite all this, Iran says it still supports peaceful nuclear energy and hasn't been trying to build a bomb. But they warn they won't give in to pressure.
