Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made a fresh deal with Netflix through their company, Archewell Productions. This new agreement will last for several years. It gives Netflix the first chance to work on any of their upcoming projects before other companies can.

This kind of deal is called a “first-look” agreement, which means Netflix gets to say “yes or no” to any show or movie they want to produce from the couple.

 What Have They Made Before?

  • Since signing with Netflix in 2020, Harry and Meghan have worked on several projects:
  • Harry & Meghan – A documentary series about their personal story.
  • Heart of Invictus – A show following injured service members competing in the Invictus Games.
  • Live to Lead – A series focused on inspirational leaders from around the world.
  • Polo – A behind-the-scenes look into Harry’s love for polo and the sport’s culture.
  • Meghan also created a lifestyle brand called As Ever, where she shares food, home, and wellness ideas.

 What’s Coming Next?
The new Netflix deal includes several exciting projects. Here’s what fans can expect soon:

1. With Love, Meghan: Season 2
This is a cooking and lifestyle show hosted by Meghan. It first came out in March and quickly became Netflix’s most popular cooking show. Viewers loved Meghan’s calm, joyful hosting and her focus on home, food, and simple living. Now, Season 2 is on the way!

2. With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration
This is a special episode planned for the holiday season. It will feature holiday cooking, decorations, and possibly some guest appearances. It’s expected to air in December and bring warm, festive vibes to fans of the show.

3. Masaka Kids: A Rhythm Within
This is a short documentary about children at an orphanage in Uganda. The kids form a dance group that brings joy and hope to their community. The film shows how music and dance help them heal and grow, even after facing hard times. It’s expected to be emotional and inspiring.

4. Meet Me at the Lake – Feature Film
This is a romantic drama based on a popular book. The story follows a couple whose love spans many years, including ups and downs. It’s a modern love story with deep feelings and a strong emotional journey. Meghan and Harry’s company will help produce the film for Netflix.

 What Netflix Says

  • Netflix’s Head of Content, Bela Bajaria, had kind words about the couple. She said:
  • “Harry and Meghan are influential voices. Their stories connect with people around the world.”
  • She explained that Netflix is proud to keep working with them because their work continues to speak to so many.

 Why This Deal Matters
This new Netflix deal shows how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are moving forward in the U.S. media world. After stepping away from their royal roles in the UK, the couple has focused on telling meaningful stories, raising awareness, and building a life based on creativity and purpose.

Here’s why the deal is important:

 1. They’re Building a New Life Through Media
Harry and Meghan are creating a platform to share their ideas, values, and stories. Instead of royal duties, they’re now focusing on projects that touch on family, hope, healing, leadership, and love.

 2. The New Deal Is Flexible
Their original Netflix deal was exclusive, and some reports say it was worth around $100 million. But the new deal is more flexible. It might offer less guaranteed money, but it gives Harry and Meghan more freedom in choosing what to make and when.

 3. Netflix Still Believes in Their Work
Even though some of their past shows didn’t get as much attention as Harry & Meghan, Netflix still sees value in the couple’s voice. The company believes their projects can inspire, teach, and connect with viewersHarry and Meghan signed a new multi-year deal with Netflix.

  • The deal gives Netflix the first choice to make their new shows and films.
  • New content includes:
  • Season 2 of Meghan’s cooking show, With Love, Meghan
  • A holiday special of the same show, coming in December
  • A short documentary about dancing kids in Uganda
  • A romantic feature film based on a novel
  • Netflix praised the couple for being global storytellers.
  • The deal is less exclusive than before, but gives them more room to be creative.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are clearly not done with storytelling. They are continuing to build a media career focused on connection, healing, and sharing their voice. With this new Netflix deal, they’re showing the world that even after leaving royal life, they still have plenty to say — and a growing audience ready to listen.
