Farrhana's Insult to Gaurav Stirs Social Media Outcry on Bigg Boss 19

Farrhana's Insult to Gaurav Stirs Social Media Outcry on Bigg Boss 19

Post by : Mina Rahman

The recent episode of Bigg Boss 19 showcased escalating tensions between Farrhana Bhatt and Gaurav Khanna, eliciting mixed reactions from viewers. Gaurav showed his temper during a heated dispute, but it was Farrhana’s inflammatory comment, dubbing him an “aurat” (woman), that ignited a social media uproar. Fans have since rallied for strict repercussions from Salman Khan regarding her disparaging language.

Intense Captaincy Challenge

During the captaincy challenge, contestants balanced on boxes set on a guitar while music played, with the last contenders standing vying for the leadership role. The challenge swiftly turned confrontational, seeing participants engage in shoving and pushing. Following the first round, Shehbaz and Tanya were ousted, with Shehbaz selected as the Sanchalak (task director).

The subsequent round saw a fierce clash between Mridul and Farrhana, each pushing the other in a display of aggression. Afterward, while raising concerns about Gaurav's inaction, she insulted him further by saying, “You caused this for yourself.”

Controversial Remarks Ignite Fury Online

Farrhana continued to stir the pot by asserting to Gaurav, “aap aurat ho aurat. Koi point of view hi nahi hai” (you are a woman and lack a viewpoint). Gaurav’s composed retort was, “Continue talking; let the viewers see your true self.”

This statement incited anger among viewers, prompting many to express their discontent on social platforms. One user shared a clip, questioning, “Is being a woman something to be ashamed of now? Farrhana sinks lower every day.” Additional comments called for her eviction, and some labeled her as “a disgraceful excuse for a human being.”

Record of Controversial Actions

This is not the first instance of Farrhana attracting criticism. In Week 2, following Gaurav's re-entry to the house, she feuded with Baseer Ali and Kunickaa Sadanand, making disparaging remarks about their families, even referring to Neelam as a “2 Kodi ki aurat” (2 rupee woman). Salman Khan had previously reprimanded her for such behavior during Weekend Ka Vaar, and fans expect him to address her actions again.

Current Nominations and Future Drama

At present, Farrhana faces eviction after Amaal opted for her over Tanya. Also at risk are Abhishek Bajaj, Neelam Giri, Ashnoor Kaur, and Gaurav Khanna. There are indications of a potential double eviction this week, which Salman Khan is likely to confirm in the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar.
