Dubai: The Dubai Press Club (DPC) recently launched a session under its 'Media Workshops' initiative, emphasizing artificial intelligence's evolving influence in media and digital content creation. Titled 'Artificial Intelligence… Simplified', this workshop was led by Emirati content creator Ebrahim Bolehyool, gathering media professionals and creators at the club.

The session highlighted how AI is reshaping the media landscape, facilitating the efficient creation of text, images, and videos. Attendees engaged in discussions regarding practical applications of AI tools and the role these technologies play in contemporary content production.

Maryam Al Mulla, Director of the Dubai Press Club, remarked on the rapid advancements and rising relevance of artificial intelligence globally. She emphasized that this session aimed to equip media professionals with straightforward and applicable knowledge about leveraging AI for enhanced content production.

Al Mulla also reaffirmed the Dubai Press Club's commitment to staying abreast of industry innovations while fostering dialogue between media experts and tech specialists.

During the workshop, Ebrahim Bolehyool explained his experiences using generative AI to create visuals focused on community awareness. He broke down AI operations in layman's terms, emphasizing their reliance on data, algorithms, and neural networks for swift content generation.

Participants were introduced to various popular AI platforms, including Google Gemini, OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, and ElevenLabs. Conversations centered around how these tools can bolster creative projects, enabling creators to convert ideas into captivating visual and audio content tailored to diverse audiences.

Bolehyool stressed that AI should complement, not replace, human creativity. He noted that merging innovative thought with AI could yield more compelling, smart, and original content in the dynamic digital media environment.
