UAE Introduces Cyber Factory for Enhanced Cybersecurity

In a landmark initiative, the UAE Cyber Security Council (CSC) has partnered with CPX Holding to establish the ‘UAE Cyber Factory’ aimed at fortifying the nation's cybersecurity framework and advancing its digital leadership ambitions.

This initiative targets the enhancement of the UAE's capabilities in detecting, preventing, and swiftly addressing an escalating range of cyber threats aimed at government bodies, enterprises, and private citizens. As global cyberattacks surge, recent data from the UAE Cyber Security Council indicates a staggering daily count exceeding 800,000 incidents.

Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, the UAE Government’s Cyber Security Head, emphasized that the inauguration of the UAE Cyber Factory is a significant stride toward establishing the UAE as a beacon for cutting-edge cybersecurity innovation.

He further noted that the UAE is committed not just to safeguarding its digital infrastructure but also to fostering advanced technologies that can swiftly and effectively counteract cyber risks.

Focused on the development of next-generation cybersecurity technologies and systems driven by artificial intelligence (AI), the UAE Cyber Factory intends to empower the nation to navigate the dynamic landscape of cyber threats with heightened agility and precision.

The project aims to create an entirely sovereign cybersecurity ecosystem, ensuring the UAE maintains comprehensive control over its cyber capabilities. This endeavor will enhance the nation’s digital autonomy and strengthen its capacity to confront future cyber threats.

Through this collaboration, the UAE Cyber Security Council and CPX are committed to realizing the vision of establishing competitive cybersecurity solutions that are developed within the UAE.

Hadi Anwar, CEO of CPX, remarked that the establishment of the UAE Cyber Factory is pivotal for nurturing a secure and adaptive cybersecurity framework. He highlighted that the initiative will integrate local expertise with advanced engineering and innovation arising within the UAE.

Moreover, he asserted that the project will bolster national cyber defenses, fostering a safer digital landscape for government agencies, businesses, and citizens nationwide.
