In a significant show of appreciation for Emirati women, the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai has organized a community march titled ‘Generation Shapers Proud of UAE’ as part of the ongoing campaign initiated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE.
This event, held at Umm Suqeim Park, aims to foster social unity, enhance national identity, and cultivate a deeper sense of belonging among residents.
Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, the CDA Director General, graced the occasion alongside families, Emirati women, and members of the local community, emphasizing the pivotal role of women in nurturing future generations and supporting societal stability.
Attendees participated in various activities designed to promote community interaction. Local Emirati businesses contributed by sharing their offerings, while UAE flags and commemorative items were presented to guests. The atmosphere was vibrant with entertainment and competitions for mothers and children, celebrating national pride.
Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid remarked that this initiative embodies the leadership's commitment to uplift Emirati women and reinforce family roles within society. She acknowledged that empowered women are crucial for the nation’s advancement and the transmission of cultural values to upcoming generations.
She also reiterated that building resilient communities begins with strong families, a mission to which the CDA is dedicated through impactful programs aimed at enhancing living standards and societal stability.
The CDA highlighted that this initiative aligns with the Dubai Social Agenda 33 goals, which seek to bolster family welfare and community cohesion across Dubai.
The march attracted a diverse array of participants, including mothers, elderly Emirati women, people of determination, and women-led volunteer groups. The purpose was to promote intergenerational dialogue and reinforce social solidarity.
This event was executed in partnership with various governmental bodies including Dubai Police, Roads and Transport Authority, and Dubai Civil Defense, showcasing collaborative efforts to uphold national values and support community initiatives.
