Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, engaged with Fredrik Florén to discuss enhancing collaboration between Dubai and Sweden in areas such as culture, education, innovation, and the creative economy.

During their meeting, Sheikha Latifa emphasized the strengthening relationship between the UAE and Sweden, commending Sweden’s investment in cultural and creative sectors. She noted that both nations envision fostering the growth of the creative economy and promoting innovation through cultural engagement.

Sheikha Latifa articulated that culture is vital for fostering dialogue and meaningful connections among diverse communities. The partnership between the UAE and Sweden exemplifies a mutual dedication to nurturing creative sectors that enable innovation, knowledge sharing, and fresh ideas.

Additionally, she remarked on Dubai's relentless efforts to bolster its cultural ecosystem through global partnerships, which create opportunities for artists, promote interdisciplinary collaborations, and advocate sustainable creative industries for the future.

Guided by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision, Dubai has rapidly evolved as a global nexus for culture and creativity, focusing on talent development, innovation, and cultural exchange.

The meeting also saw the participation of Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Maryam bint Ahmed Al Hammadi, Saeed Al Eter, and several officials.

Ambassador Fredrik Florén acknowledged the strong ties between the two nations, highlighting the significance of ongoing cultural dialogue and collaboration to foster creativity and innovation.

He additionally commended Dubai’s swiftly evolving cultural scene and its pivotal role in fostering creativity, attracting global talent, and reinforcing the emirate’s status as an international cultural hub.
